Business overview

African Caribbean Diversity (ACD or ACDiversity) is an education charity founded in 1990. We focus on the academic attainment, career prospects, and social mobility of young black state school-educated students in London, aged 14 – 18, and are now developing programmes to support our alumni at university and at the early stages of their careers.

We provide a wide array of enrichment programmes for our students, from residential summer schools at the University of Cambridge for year 9s, to one-to-one mentoring relationships with working professionals, to black history education seminars. Over the last 10 years, we have had over 300 students come through our programme and have long-lasting sponsored relationships with the likes of The Bank of England, Goldman Sachs, Slaughter and May and the University of Cambridge.
