AloNuko is a bespoke British fashion brand which specialises in bridal and evening-wear.
From the age of 11, Gbemi Okunlola taught herself how to construct garments, and started making clothes as a hobby, which quickly evolved in to a small business venture.
After completing a fashion design course at college, Gbemi went on to interning at a prestigious London Fashion house, followed by an apprenticeship at another British Fashion company.
Gbemi then went on to exerting all her acquired knowledge into focusing on building her own brand, and after 2 years of catering to private clients requiring outfits for various occasions, Gbemi officially launched AloNuko as a Bespoke Bridal company in July 2015.
AloNuko gowns are designed to encapsulate class, sophistication and originality within every piece that is intricately made. Aimed towards women, AloNuko focuses on highlighting beauty, confidence and style.
The AloNuko dress works with the characteristics and qualities within, to edify her beauty without. In completing a brief, tailored to the individual, we work to accentuate desired features, instead of focusing on trying to hide imperfections and flaws. The idea is not to re-create a new person or to imitate someone else, who already exists, but to apply all of our creative energy and participate in completing the best you.
