Business overview
JT Aphrique is a multicultural fashion designer specializing in authentic African wear with a European, Asian and Caribbean spin. We aim at promoting cultural fashion and creativity through a mix of traditional and western contemporary clothing and accessories.
Since its launch in Autumn of 2010 we have successfully unveiled clothes, accessories which have appeared in various fashion shows as well as collaborated with different designers.
OBJECTIVE
Our main objective is to showcase African diversity and colours, our efforts transcend its continental cultures and promote cosmopolitanism in a world where trends continue to evolve.
EVENTS
Over the years we have participated in a number of events and fashion shows which continue to be a success. From celebrating “Black awareness” month to hosting local fashion shows which promote cultural diversity and eventually bringing communities together. We have seen our work extending to working hand in hand with local apprentice/secondary/college students looking for experience.
