Mavis Amankwah is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, Public Speaker and Business Coach with over 20 years in the Communications and professional services industry. As one of the UK’s foremost Diversity Ambassadors, Mavis has dedicated her career to making a positive impact in the diversity and business world by bridging the gap between communities, whilst, conversely, transforming social disparities into profitable and sustainable business models.
A highly acclaimed business guru, Mavis has survived two recessions and against all odds has sustained and successfully executed campaigns across a plethora of industries and sectors including the business and financial sector (she has worked with Lloyds and NatWest Bank to name a few).
Her vision began in 2002 when she noticed that there was a major gap in the market where corporate and commercial organisations needed to tap into diverse and hard-to-reach audiences but had challenges engaging with them. She gave up her career as a qualified IT consultant to pursue a career in business.
