Proudly created in 2020, Melda’s Daughter, produces premium artisan products in small batches in our London kitchen to traditional methods. Melda’s Daughter is a brand of condiments, spices and more. Inspired by my beloved late mothers passion for food bursting with flavour, warmth and love along with a combination of my Caribbean culture and love affair with fusing traditional and modern cooking techniques. We aim to bring you the best in traditional Caribbean flavours with a modern twist. Made with 100% natural fresh ingredients, vegan/vegetarian suitable, no preservatives, dairy Free and gluten free.

The Frist of our distinct handcrafted range – Spiced Sorrel Jelly

Our Spiced sorrel jelly is slow cooked to perfection with real bits of dried sorrel floral petals, fresh ginger and topped off with a hint scotch bonnet pepper. Which adds a punch to this instant tangy, sweet, spice jelly. The heat of the spices kicks in a little later building to a mild but comforting pinch, Leaving your mouth instantly filled with a burst of Caribbean flavours that will awaken your palette. It is perfect accompanying  your morning toast, porridge and taste amazing with your crackers and cheese board for a great heat pairing. The varying layers of spices is a great addition to gravies, chicken, fish, pork or simply served over ice cream. A great all round condiment and alternative to cranberry sauce.
