Business overview
I’m a London based tutor with a Steiner background and over 7 years teaching experience. I teach students in English, Piano, Violin, Oboe and Music Theory from Beginner to Advanced level.
I am a patient and warm-hearted teacher with an affection for the children I teach. I have learnt the balance of being kind yet firm when it comes to lesson discipline. I am attentive to the students needs because I believe it’s important to adjust my teaching style slightly according to the learning style, personality and level of each student.
I believe that it’s of course important that progress is achieved in education , but don’t put all the emphasis on examinations as the sole reason for working hard. Instead I strive to give my students incentive to improve for their own self-fulfilment- and that feeling of pure success when they are now able to do something they struggled with previously, and now, due to their hard work and perseverance,can easily manage!
